Continental Construction International Limited (CCIL) came into existence on 03.04.2008 as a result of demerger of its parent company Continental Construction Ltd. (CCL). The demerger of CCL was ordered by Hon'ble Company Law Board vide its orders dated 21.11.2007 & 16.05.2008. CCIL is promoted by Basi Group (largest shareholding group in CCL i.e. 43%) and is headed by Mr. Manjeet Singh Basi, who has a vast experience of more than 30 years in construction field and CCL has completed various major projects of international repute under his expert guidance and supervision.
Lower Jehlum Hydel Project, J & K, India
Concrete Barrage with road bridge, headrace open channel and 8 meter dia cut and cover RCC Conduit, rock excavation, diversion channel, foundation treatment and other appurtenant works at Baramulla, J&K State, India.
The work site is situated at EL 1600 M above MSL. It remains snow bound for 4 months each year. Work was executed round the clock, in difficult hilly terrain, under adverse weather conditions, to meet the completion deadlines.

- Conduit : 8 M dia 1100 M long cast-in-situ
- Excavation : 2,320,000 cu m
- Concrete : 100,000 cu m
- Purpose : Hydro Power Generation (105 MW)
