About Continental Construction International Ltd.

Continental Construction International Limited (CCIL) came into existence on 03.04.2008 as a result of demerger of its parent company Continental Construction Ltd. (CCL). The demerger of CCL was ordered by Hon'ble Company Law Board vide its orders dated 21.11.2007 & 16.05.2008. CCIL is promoted by Basi Group (largest shareholding group in CCL i.e. 43%) and is headed by Mr. Manjeet Singh Basi, who has a vast experience of more than 30 years in construction field and CCL has completed various major projects of international repute under his expert guidance and supervision.

Continental Construction Ltd (CCL) was incorporated as a Private Limited Company in December 1962 and was converted into a Public Limited Company in January 1983, a fully mechanized and an ISO 9001:2000 Construction Company. It has witnessed enormous growth during its life of 40 years.

From its very inception, CCL has been engaged in execution of large size turnkey, infrastructure projects in India and has been a pioneer in exporting civil construction know-how, from India to the Middle East and North Africa. The first ever civil construction contract awarded to an Indian Company in Iraq was signed by CCL in 1975. Its value was only US$ 5 million approx.
